CitzCan (the "App") is made by AppTune LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the iOS and Android apps and the website at citzcan.com.
What the App collects
Nothing. There is no account, and we don't collect your name, email, location, contacts, or answers. The App contains no ads, analytics, or tracking, and works without an internet connection.
The App stores your progress and your settings on your device only. This data never leaves your device and isn't shared with anyone.
Some lessons link to Canada.ca. These open in your browser, under that site's own privacy policy.
The website
citzcan.com is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and the pages you request to serve the site and prevent abuse.
The website, but not the App, uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies, and we see only aggregated statistics, like page views and the sites visitors come from. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
App stores
Apple and Google may collect data when you download the App, under their own policies. We receive only the anonymous, aggregated statistics they provide to developers.
Security
Your progress stays on your device, protected by its own security. The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the App deletes everything it stored. We keep no account or user records, so there is nothing on our servers to delete.
Your rights
Laws such as PIPEDA (Canada), Quebec's Law 25, the GDPR (EU/UK), or the CCPA (California) may give you rights over your personal data. Since we hold none, you can exercise them on your device as described above. For any request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal data from anyone.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date.
